MOSAICS Public School to Host FIRST Lego League Jr. Club at Caldwell Library

Free Club Open to Children in Grades 1-3

MOSAICS Public School, a new STEAM charter school in Caldwell, was recently awarded an $500 grant from the Caldwell Optimist’s Club to host FIRST LEGO League Jr. (FLL Jr.) in partnership with the Caldwell Public Library.  Children in this afterschool club will explore STEM concepts, then build a model and code it to make it move using LEGO Education WeDo 2.0. As they explore a real-world challenge, they build a strong foundation for future computational thinking and engineering skill development.

Children in grades 1-3 are invited to attend this free, 12-week afterschool club at the Caldwell Public Library on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30 pm starting February 11.  Advanced registration is required, and forms can be found at www.mosaicsps.org.  For additional information or questions about the FLL Jr. Club, please contact Jennifer Varner at jvarner@mosaicsps.org or by phone at (208) 402-8899.
